Alex grew up loving science-fiction and action movies. Inspired by the sci-fi thrillers he loved as a kid, he teamed up with illustrator Winona Nelson to create the science-fiction graphic novel, Artifice. Artifice was a 2014 Lambda Literary Awards finalist, and currently has over 100 5-star reviews on Amazon.
Since 2012, he has been writing and publishing a new webcomic with gay action heroes, the superhero webcomic, The Young Protectors. It is ongoing and currently has over 500 pages that can be read online for free. Its first volume, The Young Protectors: Engaging the Enemy Vol. One, is also now available as a full-color trade paperback.
Thanks to the generous Patreon support of his readers, Alex now makes his living full-time as a comic creator, telling stories featuring diverse heroes. He looks forward to telling such stories for many years to come.
